Laundry

I like going to the launderette, mostly. Sure, it’s less “convenient” than owning a washing machine but it’s more interesting and here I can walk to a nearby supermarket where they give you a free cup of coffee if you have a loyalty card.
Sometimes I meet surprisingly pleasant and helpful people, some “characters” to be sure too but having to exercise tolerance and understanding is a good thing (I mistyped “a god thing”, maybe that’s correct too?).
People often do small, kind things, like today, when a lady sitting along the bench simply told me my drying had finished. No big deal, but she didn’t have to, and it helped me in a small way.
I’ve found by experience that “what goes around, comes around”… Like shirts in a tumble dryer…
Have a good weekend.
